Silent Tools

       

Teeness AS is a producer of anti-vibration tools and a Competence Center for anti-vibration tools located in Trondheim, Norway. As a Competence Center Teeness is responsible for R&D, product development and training. Since 2008 Teeness AS is a part of the Sandvik Coromant group.

We produce damped tools for applications such as milling, turning and deep hole boring. The tools are used all over the world, producing components used in cars, airplanes and the oil and gas industry - to mention a few.

 

 

Silent Tools® is a definition of tool holders made to reduce vibrations due to a damper inside the tool body and is a trademark within Sandvik Coromant. Damped boring bars are designed for high productivity, close tolerances and overhang beyond 4 x the bar diameter.
