This includes basic theory for turning, boring and milling. as well as technical information connected to the application of our tools. This section will help you to eliminate vibrations, and hence improve your productivity.
Anti-vibration tools in general are to be used like any conventional cutting tool. Most of them are pretuned from the manufacturer and can be put directly into the machine tool as if they were short solid tools. When it comes to the cutting data; the recommended starting values for the actual insert are found in CoroKey.
Be aware that longer tools will transmit far greater forces through the clamping into the machine tool. Lack of strength and stability may force you to reduce the cutting force. To help you find out what the situation will be for you, we have made a separate section in this site where you can do some of the technical calculations.
